In the biggest designated day of its kind in the club’s history, the Owls will spread their wings across five local charities and hospitals for #blueandwhitechristmasday 2016.
Following the huge success of last year’s #blueandwhitechristmasday, the chairman, coaching staff and players will be going even further afield this Wednesday, 7 December.
Kicking off in the morning with a visit to Sheffield Royal Society of the Blind, the SWFC contingent will press on throughout this special day, calling into Weston Park Hospital, Children’s Cash for Kids, Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
Our range of digital channels will be onside every step of the way, bringing live updates and images as the Owls take flight around the local community.
Christmas, of course, is also the time of year to remember those in the Sheffield Wednesday family no longer with us and we are encouraging supporters to send in their messages through Twitter and Facebook using #blueandwhitechristmasday
