Building on the earlier launch of electronic payments at till points around the ground over the previous seven home fixtures, the club are pleased to announce that from tonight’s game against Brentford, the number of card-only locations will rise from 39 to 50.
In an effort to reduce queueing time on the concourse areas, we successfully piloted these ‘express lanes’ to remove the need for handling cash purchases.
Consequently, as we move towards a cash-free stadium, supporters are encouraged to pay for their pre-match or half time refreshments by contactless card or chip and pin.
From this evening, there will be at least one till on each kiosk accepting cash transactions but the majority of locations will deal with card only.
