Class of '66 reunite

8 November 2016

Owls fans will get a unique opportunity to join Wednesday’s FA Cup final team of 1966 for an exclusive evening at Hillsborough.

The Wembley clash with Everton 50 years ago proved an epic encounter as the Toffees emerged triumphant from a five-goal thriller after the Owls raced into a 2-0 lead.

Such was the emotion of the cup classic, Wednesday captain Don Megson became the first skipper to lead the losing team on a lap of honour at Wembley.

Megson will be in attendance on what promises to be a memorable night in the 1867 Lounge as the Class of ’66 reunite for the first time.

This special event takes place on Friday 9 December and includes a Q&A with the stars of ‘66, a three-course meal, exclusive auction and raffle and much more.

Guests will also see the unveiling of ‘Keep the Ball in the Bag’, a documentary with never seen before footage of the players reminiscing on the infamous final.

Tickets are on sale now, priced £35 each or £300 for a table of ten.

To book, please call 0114 2212150 or email john.pearson@swfc.co.uk
