Following the successful installation of Electronic Points Of Sale (EPOS) at Hillsborough earlier in the season, the club has received positive feedback from supporters on the benefits of being able to pay for refreshments using contactless and chip and pin bank cards.
Consequently, we are pleased to announce that, beginning from today’s game against Huddersfield, 30 express lanes will be in operation around the ground dedicated to taking electronic payments only.
These new lanes are aimed at improving the matchday experience by reducing queue times and speeding up the payment process.
Fans should look out for the ‘express lane’ signage located above respective sales positions operating the EPOS system as we ultimately aim to develop Hillsborough into a ‘cashless’ stadium.
