Joe Wildsmith has been called up to the England Under-21s.
The young Wednesday keeper will form part of the Three Lions’ squad to face Norway on Tuesday 6 September in the European Championship qualifier.
The game will take place at Colchester’s Community Stadium, with kick-off at 5.45pm.
Wildsmith joins Owls consorts Barry Bannan, Steven Fletcher and Keiren Westwood on international duty next week.
