As Wednesday prepare for the clash with Nottingham Forest this weekend, Carlos Carvalhal says the players are totally focused as they bid for a third straight win at Hillsborough.
The head coach is happy to be back at home on Saturday and happy with the preparation and mentality of the players.
“I talked with my players today and I know my team – they are very focused,” he explained.
“They are very happy to be back at Hillsborough again. In the last four games I think we have done very well, we’ve created a lot of chances.
“The last two games at Hillsborough were very emotional to all of us and it makes all of us look forward.
“Our massive fans will have a very big presence in the game and they will help our players.”
He added: “All the players are giving 100% and as I promised, when the players are doing this with the support of our fans at Hillsborough, we are very strong.
“Nottingham Forest are a very difficult opponent, they are taking and scoring a lot of goals but they will know they must fight against a very strong opponent because we are a strong team.”
