England Under-18s drew 0-0 with France on Monday evening and in the process were crowned victorious in the International Trophy – a mini tournament that also included Poland.
England kicked off with a 2-0 victory over Poland on Friday evening at the Lamex Stadium, Stevenage.
Two goals either side of the interval from Owls striker George Hirst settled the contest.
Six minutes before the break, Hirst slid in at the back stick to convert an Andre Dozzell centre and then struck from the penalty spot in the second half.
The young Lions then came through a difficult test on Monday evening but showed resilience against a strong French side to make it six unbeaten.
England were under pressure for large parts of the clash at Peterborough’s ABAX Stadium but held firm to be crowned overall winners.
Having played the full 90 minutes on Friday, Hirst came on from the bench after 64 minutes against France.
