Keiren Westwood has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for their opening World Cup qualifier against Serbia.
The game will take place on Monday 5 September at the Stadion FK Crvena zvezda, Belgrade.
The Republic are also set to face Oman at The Aviva Stadium in the build-up to their World Cup qualifying campaign on Wednesday 31 August.
The Owls’ number one has competition in the form of West Ham shot-stopper Darren Randolph and David Forde, who is on loan at Portsmouth.
Westwood will join Barry Bannan, Steven Fletcher and George Hirst on international duty next week.
