Owls duo back NCS

2 December 2016

Glenn Loovens and Liam Palmer have shown their support for the National Citizen Service.

Both players sported a blue hoody with the slogan ‘It all starts at yes’, the official tagline of the initiative that aims to give 15-17 years olds more learning and life experiences.

The NCS gives young people fun opportunities to take part in outdoor activities, before moving on to gain important life skills to build an eye-catching CV.

Loovens and Palmer are ambassadors for the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme’s NCS projects and their support is very much welcomed.

Lucy Shuttleworth, NCS Manager for the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme, said: "It’s great to have the backing of Liam and Glenn again this year.

“They really inspire a lot of our young people to go that extra mile to give back to our community.

“It means a lot to the young people that their Sheffield Wednesday idols recognise such an amazing programme like the National Citizen Service."
