George Hirst will continue his progress on the international stage this evening as England Under-18s face Poland.
The game – staged at Stevenage’s Lamex Stadium – kicks off at 7.00pm.
The 17-year-old has enjoyed a number of successful stints in the Three Lions’ youth set-up.
A brace against Germany on only his second appearance for the England Under-17s back in February saw the striker called up to the Under-18 squad.
Hirst has been a regular at that level since and has scored two goals which came in the 5-1 victory over Israel in September.
This evening, England kick-start the three-team tournament against Poland and then face France on Monday 14 November.
