Daniel Pudil has received an international call for the Czech Republic.
The Wednesday defender is in the squad for two forthcoming games – first a home friendly against Armenia before the Czechs host Northern Ireland in a World Cup 2018 qualifier.
The Armenia contest takes place on Monday 31 August in Mlada Boleslav and the Irish travel to Prague on Sunday 4 September.
Pudil has stored 33 caps for the Czech Republic to date and joins Owls team mates Keiren Westwood, Joe Wildsmith, Barry Bannan and Steven Fletcher on international duty during the first break of the current campaign.
