Waddle and Sheridan set for charity match

Owls legends John Sheridan and Chris Waddle are set to go head to head as they take part in a special charity match at Hillsborough to raise money for St. Luke’s Hospice and the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme.


The match, ‘the FA(ke) cup’, is scheduled to take place on Sunday 4 September at 1pm, will see Wednesday fans make up two teams and play at Hillsborough where they will be managed by club legends Waddle and Sheridan to help raise money for St. Luke’s and the club’s Community Programme.


To enter, fans need to raise a minimum of £500 per person and in return will receive the full use of the club’s dressing room, a bespoke souvenir kit, tickets for five guests which includes a meal and a team photograph and medal.


The player who raises the most money will win the chance to meet their favourite Owls player before a 2016/17 home game.
