Waddle set for fans' charity match

28 July 2016

Owls fans are being invited to take part in a special charity match at Hillsborough – ‘the FA(ke) Cup’ – to raise money for St Luke’s Hospice and the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme.

The match, scheduled to take place on Sunday 4 September at 1pm, will see Wednesday fans make up two teams and play at Hillsborough alongside Owls legend Chris Waddle to help raise money for St. Luke’s and the club’s Community Programme.

To enter, fans need to raise a minimum of £500 per person and in return will receive the full use of the club’s dressing room, a bespoke souvenir kit, tickets for five guests which includes a meal and a team photograph and medal.

The player who raises the most money will win the chance to meet their favourite Owls player before a 2016/17 home game.

To find out more, register interest and secure a shirt number players need to simply email info@mcc2016.co.uk
