“We will be with big support from all the sides.
“I think our fans can win the battle, Newcastle will bring a lot of fans but I think our fans can win the battle.
“I hope that on the pitch we can do the same. This is what I wish from the game. We are Sheffield Wednesday, we respect all of our opponents but we will play to win, of course.
“Everybody knows that.”
He added: “Playing against Rotherham was not easy, they put problems to us in the game.
“I’m absolutely sure the problems Newcastle put to us will be different and we must manage the difficulties they create to us.
“But we have a team to create damage also to Newcastle, we have a team that can do this so it will be a challenge to us but the pressure is the same – to win points and achieve a good position in the marathon.”
