Keiren Westwood has extended his current contact with Wednesday.
The popular goalkeeper will now stay at Hillsborough until the summer of 2019.
Westwood joined the Owls on a Bosman free transfer in July 2014 and has since made the gloves his own in S6.
The Republic of Ireland international has made 77 appearances, proving a key figure in the team’s recent rise to prominence.
Westwood made a clean sweep of the Owls’ Player of the Year awards following his maiden campaign, whilst earning a coveted place in the PFA Championship Team of the Year to boot.
