Sheffield Wednesday are delighted to announce that the Season Ticket window for 2016/17 is now open – and as a thank you to our loyal supporters, we are launching a brand new Advance Saver that offers significant short and long term savings on watching the Owls at Hillsborough.
The innovative scheme gives Wednesdayites the option to buy a one, two or three-year Advance Saver Season Ticket, with guaranteed and fixed price points offering fantastic value for money across the board.
As an added incentive, supporters can also pre-order the 2016/17 official replica shirts at the discounted price of £45 for one or £85 for both the home and away shirts if purchased with an Advance Saver Season Ticket. Fans who chose a two or three-year option can pre-order their shirts for the corresponding campaigns.
Chairman Dejphon Chansiri said: “This project is something this club has never undertaken before and is my way of saying thank you to our loyal supporters, who will make guaranteed savings by committing to one, two or three-year Season Tickets. These prices cannot and will not be beaten.
“It is a tradition of many football clubs to offer Early Bird Season Tickets but I want to offer our supporters an even better incentive before that period later this year.
“I want to offer the flexibility to buy a Season Ticket for one year, two years or three years but we will guarantee the price for the full duration of the purchase, and even make it cheaper.
“When I saw our stadium full for the Capital One Cup-tie against Arsenal in October, it brought to life the long term vision I have for Sheffield Wednesday.
“Like everyone, I want to see that kind of attendance at our home week in and week out and my desire to lead Sheffield Wednesday to the Premier League grows by the day.
“All the experiences I have enjoyed with our supporters continue to give me more and more enthusiasm and the Advance Saver Season Ticket is simply me saying thank you to them.”
Reflecting the commitment of subscribing to the three-year plan, prices will actually decrease over the duration of the deal - irrespective of the division in which Wednesday are plying their trade.
In addition, we are pleased to announce the introduction of a new price band applicable to 21-24-year-olds to help young adults as they enter the working world with increased financial commitments. The prices of these Season Tickets are set between the concession rate and full adult rate.
There are also superb savings for families with all junior prices frozen, and in a bid to grow the award-winning Kids’ Zone area of the Grandstand, junior tickets within this popular area of the stadium are reduced by a massive 50% when purchased with an Adult Season Ticket.
The Season Ticket window remains open until Monday 1 February, with guaranteed savings ahead of the next phase of sales later in the year.
We are pleased to offer supporters the opportunity to spread the cost of their Advance Saver Season Ticket with our partners V12 finance over a ten-month period subject to a 6.5% administration fee*.
All usual payment options are available for the purchase of one-year Season Tickets for the 2016/17 season, including credit cards.
We are unfortunately unable to accept credit card payments for Multi Year Season Tickets and therefore purchases of two or three-year Season Tickets must be made in person at the Ticket Office.
