Owls academy duo Johnny Fenwick and Emmanuel Dieseruvwe have both penned their first professional contracts at the club.
The promising youngsters have signed one-year deals at Hillsborough.
Fenwick and Dieseruvwe have featured regularly for the Under-18s and Under-21s this term and were both delighted to commit to Wednesday.
Versatile defender Fenwick said: “I’m very happy to sign for Wednesday, I’ve worked really hard and now I want to push on towards the first team and learn from the senior pros.
“It’s a big day for myself and my family.
“I first came as a left winger but I’ve more recently moved to left back and have also played at centre half. It’s important now that I keep progressing and keep learning.”
Striker Dieseruvwe, who scored twice for the Owls Under-21s in their 2-1 win over Wigan at the DW Stadium last month, said:
“This is what I’ve been working towards for the two years I’ve been at the club so I’m really delighted.
“My hard work has paid off so far because I have reached this point but now I have to get my head down and work even harder.
“I’m an attacking player, I love to get into the box and score goals and create things for the team.”
