Dejphon Chansiri has issued a huge vote of thanks to Wednesdayites following the complete sell-out of tickets for the Sky Bet Championship play-off final clash against Hull on Saturday.
The Owls’ entire allocation of 38,889 tickets was snapped up by early Tuesday morning, with the team guaranteed their trademark incredible backing from the blue and white hordes at Wembley.
The Wednesday chairman said: “On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to say a big thank you to our fantastic supporters.
“It was never in doubt that the players would receive unbelievable support at Wembley and the speed at which the tickets have been sold only confirms what we already knew.
“Saturday will be a fantastic occasion for everyone associated with our club and one of the things I am so looking forward to is the sea of blue and white at Wembley.”
Mr Chansiri added: “The focus on everyone at the club, at the training ground and the stadium, is 100% on the final.
“As Carlos has said time and again, the only focus can be on the next game. We have not looked beyond Saturday and will not do so until the final whistle.
“Of course, there has been media speculation regarding transfers and the like for next season but I can assure our supporters that not a single technical meeting has taken place on that subject.
“All that matters right now is Saturday….everything else must wait.”
