Sheffield Wednesday are pleased to announce that Season Tickets for the 2014/15 campaign are on sale now for an initial five-week period.
Supporters who take advantage of this Early Bird offer will gain significant savings that guarantee the cheapest possible price to watch football at Hillsborough next term.
In addition, Owls fans who purchase a Season Ticket in the Early Bird period will receive the equivalent of seeing at least five games absolutely FREE.
Young supporters will also make major year on year savings through to the age of 20 as the club seeks to aid the often financially difficult transition from juvenile to adult.
Overall, following an extensive review and supporter feedback, Wednesday will introduce new categories for junior Owls fans and young adults, which are as follows:
10 and under (under 11s)
16 and under (under 17s)
17 to 20 (young adults)
From next season, the new category of 10 and under will enable junior fans to access any home area of the ground for only £50 – or just £2.17 per game.
Supporters aged 16 and under can also buy a Season Ticket in any home area of Hillsborough for £100, or £4.34 a game, which represents outstanding value for money.
Those aged 16 to 20, meanwhile, will gain considerable savings of up to 40 per cent at standard concession rates.
Elsewhere, following four seasons of frozen prices – during which Wednesday achieved promotion to the Championship – 2014/15 will see limited rises.
However, adults will still benefit from prices that start from only £360, which equates to £15.65 per game.
Chairman Milan Mandaric said: “The loyalty of our supporters has been the most striking part of my time at Sheffield Wednesday so far.
“It is vital that we all move forward as one and buying a Season Ticket is the best way to invest in your team and your club.
“We have full understanding of the economic climate right now, which is why we have kept increases to a minimum, the Early Bird prices have not increased since 2010.
“Our young supporters will now receive discounted prices all the way up to 20-years-old and our prices next season all round will compare very favourably with when we were a League 1 club.
“As always, I would like to thank all our supporters for making the Sheffield Wednesday fan base the envy of many of our peers.”
Once again, the club have partnered with Zebra Finance so to spread the cost over six or ten months no interest option with an administration fee at a reduced rate from 2013/14*.
Alternatively, supporters can again purchase their Season Ticket on the Owls MasterCard to receive nine months’ interest free on payments over £195. This option is available online only.
The Early Bird deadline for 2014/15 Season Tickets is Monday 31 March. After this date, Season Ticket sales will be withdrawn until the second period of sale, when the maximum discounts available will reduce.
Remember, purchasing a Season Ticket is the guaranteed cheapest way to watch Wednesday and receive all associated benefits.
