With the Owls’ home campaign over, work has commenced on a state of the art playing surface for 2015/16.
The old pitch was taken up following the Leeds game last weekend and the overhaul has now started in earnest.
Upon his arrival, Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri pledged £1m to give the players the best possible pitch for next term, together with a giant screen to enhance the matchday experience at Hillsborough.
