Foot to the floor

17 March 2015

The play-offs may have become more distant on the horizon but Stuart Gray insists there will be no letting up from his side ahead of tonight’s trip to Wolves.

With nine rounds of fixtures to go in this season’s Championship, the odds are stacked against Wednesday sneaking into the coveted top six.

But Gray says it will be foot to the floor regardless between now and the end of the campaign:

“I think we needed to win Saturday’s game against Fulham to give ourselves a chance and we should have won when you look back at the game.

“But we didn’t and we move on to the next one, which is at Molineux tonight.

“As far as I’m concerned, we will be giving 100% in every game and we will not be letting up in terms of effort or commitment.

“I want to beat our points tally for last season, I want to finish higher than last season and I want to win every football match that we play.”
