Wednesday hitman Gary Hooper is one of four players nominated to win the January Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month Award.
The 28-year-old was recently crowned as the club’s swfc.co.uk Player of the Month after striking a rich vein of form in front of goal.
The former Celtic and Norwich striker scored five times in January in the games against Bolton (2), Leeds (2) and Reading.
Having been in fine form throughout his previous loan spell at the club, Hooper’s move was made permanent in the January transfer window – boosting the attacking ranks at Hillsborough.
Also nominated for the award from the Sky Bet Championship are Abel Hernandez (Hull), Maikel Kieftenbeld (Birmingham) and Ben Mee (Burnley).
