Hard to beat

4 November 2015

Tom Lees is pleased with the current clean sheet record of four in the last five games.

The Owls extended their current run of resistance to 11 games following the goalless draw against Brighton on Tuesday.

And Lees says the Wednesday camp is content with the turnaround at the back:

“We’re very happy. At the start of the season, we weren’t keeping as many clean sheets, we were letting in goals here and there.

“So to get a consistent run of clean sheets is really good for everyone.

“We are working hard as a unit and the midfield are playing a vital role in protecting us.

“It’s nice to be hard to beat because we have goals in us going forward.”
