The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam football teams will face each other at Hillsborough this Saturday in the official opening ceremony of Varsity 2014.
Currently in its 18th year, Varsity is an annual competition between the two universities in which the sports teams battle it out to earn victory.
Both the men's and women's first teams will face their cross-city rivals on the Hillsborough turf at 3.00pm on Saturday when the Owls take on Doncaster at The Keepmoat Stadium in the Championship.
The women's game kicks off at 11.30am and the men's match begins at 3.00pm.
Tickets are valid for both games and available on the door for £5.
The University of Sheffield are the reigning Varsity champions having beaten Sheffield Hallam 36.5 - 33.5 in 2013 to pick up their first title in ten years – but who will take the title this time round?
