Joe Wildsmith has been called into the England Under-20 squad for a prestigious tournament in the Netherlands.
The young Owls’ goalkeeper will be part of the Three Lions’ contingent to face Germany, Holland and Turkey later this month.
The quartet will contest the International Four Team Tournament across Europe.
Wildsmith, who has featured in Stuart Gray’s first team squad this season, is highly rated at Hillsborough and signed his first professional contract in November 2013.
He rose successfully through the academy ranks at Middlewood Road to graduate to the senior set-up with Wednesday.
