Owls goalkeeper Keiren Westwood has been selected in the Republic of Ireland’s 23-man squad for Euro 2016.
Westwood enjoyed another excellent campaign for Wednesday on the domestic front, which has earned the shot-stopper further international reward ahead of the showpiece tournament this summer.
The 31-year-old, who has 18 caps to his name, was in the Ireland squad but played no part as the hosts went down 2-1 to Belarus in their final friendly fixture on Tuesday before heading to France.
The Republic kick off their Group E campaign against Sweden on Monday 13 June.
Martin O’Neill’s men face Belgium on 18 June before their final group game against Italy on 22 June.
