Liam Palmer is aiming to follow in the footsteps of team mate Stevie May on the international stage.
The Owls’ defender has already earned recognition with Scotland at Under-19 and Under-21 level and has targeted an upgrade to the seniors.
Striker May has successfully graduated to the full Scotland squad having impressed for the Under-20s and Under-21s.
Palmer said: “If a Scotland call-up came, that would be nice.
“But I’m just concentrating on doing the best that I can every game for Sheffield Wednesday and hopefully that goes hand in hand in the future with a potential call-up.”
