Sheffield Wednesday have signed Swansea City striker Leroy Lita on a loan deal that runs until the end of the current campaign.
Lita is a vastly experienced frontman who boasts an excellent record in the final third having converted 105 goals from 217 starts in all competitions for a string of clubs.
The Congo-born hitman burst onto the scene as a prolific young marksman with Bristol City before securing a £1m move to Reading in July 2005.
After enjoying loan spells with Charlton and Norwich, Lita signed for Middlesbrough and then Swansea for £1.75m in August 2011.
He already has a Championship loan stint this season under the belt with Birmingham, for whom he scored three goals in nine starts.
The 28-year-old has been allocated shirt number 24 for the Owls and is eligible to play in the Championship game against Charlton Athletic at The Valley on Saturday.
