Danny Mayor has joined League 2 side Bury on a season-long loan.
Mayor joined Wednesday from Preston in the summer of 2012 and has since made nine appearances for the Owls.
The midfielder’s spell at Gigg Lane will be his second loan stint away from S6 after featuring on five occasions for Southend last term.
