Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Rhys McCabe has been called up to the Scotland Under-21 squad.
The 20-year-old has featured in all three of the Owls’ Championship games so far this season and will now represent Scotland in their UEFA European Under-21 Championship games against Luxemburg and Austria.
The Scotland Under-21s play Luxemburg on Thursday 6 September at St Mirren Park before travelling to the Cash-point Arena, Altech to face Austria on Monday 10 September.
