Aiden McGeady has been named in Martin O’Neill’s Republic of Ireland squad.
The on-loan winger will be in the Eire squad that face two friendlies against Switzerland and Slovakia.
Both fixtures are scheduled to take place in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, with the clash against Switzerland on Friday 25 and Slovakia on Tuesday 29 March.
The 29-year-old has made eight appearances for Wednesday since his loan switch from Everton and scored one goal which came in the Owls’ 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
