As part of a special charity auction the souvenir Sheffield Wednesday v Rotherham United signed memorial programme has raised £165 for The Royal British Legion.
The money raised will go directly to The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal, supporting the whole Armed Forces community, through welfare, comradeship and representation.
Trevor Braithwait, Director of Communications at Sheffield Wednesday, said: “We are delighted with the amount raised for the programme and it just shows how much of a worthy cause the Poppy Appeal is. On the day, the programme sold out, so from the club, thank you for your support.”
