  • Jacques Maghoma impresses with performance at Millwall
  • Owls forward claimed three assists at The Den
  • SWFC boss wants more of the same from the ex-Burton man

Jacques Maghoma had a hand in all three goals as Wednesday put Millwall to the sword on Tuesday.

Boss Stuart Gray wants to see more of the same from the ex-Burton man, who impressed at The Den in midweek.

“He did excellent the other night at Millwall and we want that level of performance on a consistent basis,” Gray said.

“The most important thing is that your wide players create chances for your forwards.

“It’s all about confidence; at Millwall Jacques created three chances for us, we took them and it was a pleasing performance.

“But we also want him to chip in with goals. He scored 18 in one season at Burton when we signed him, so we know he has it in his locker.”

Gray added: “He’s been unlucky at times in front of goal but players go through these spells.

“One thing I do know is that Jacques is working extremely hard on the training pitch on that part of his game.”
