Table-toppers Bournemouth are out to cement their place at the top of the Championship this weekend.

It’s another stern challenge for the Owls, who had a big say in the promotion race in midweek, defeating Brentford 1-0 at Hillsborough.

Manager Eddie Howe wants to avoid any slip ups on the home straight.

Wednesday inflicted defeat on Bournemouth last season and the Cherries boss has called on the fans to help push the team over the line.

“Hopefully the crowd can inspire us because we are going to need them more than ever.

“In these games I’m sure there will be moments where we are either under pressure or need a lift and that’s when hopefully they can do their bit for us.”

The Owls will too be well backed at The Goldsands Stadium, having sold their full allocation of 1,280 for the clash on the South Coast.

Football League title sponsors Sky Bet have stacked the odds heavily in favour of the hosts and the Owls are 8/1 to claim the win.

Full match commentary will be available on Wednesday Player and subscribers can tune in with their lap tops, tablets and mobile devices through their unique log in details.
