Given Sheffield Wednesday’s Category Two status, the club’s academy is seeking to extend its scouting network.
To that end, scouts are sought to join the Academy Talent Identification and Recruitment team as part of the Owls’ long term development strategy.
Scouts will be required to aid the recruitment of elite players aged between nine and 16 for SWFC’s extremely successful Youth Development Programme.
Successful applicants will be working with children and as such will be required to complete the screening process that includes the enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure.
Preferred but not essential:
- Knowledge of local leagues or grassroots football
- Experience of schools football, both local and district
- Experience in Academy or School of Excellence scouting
- Knowledge of youth football

- Sheffield
- West Yorkshire
- Greater Manchester
