The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme ran various stalls and activities at last weekend’s Owls in the Park including bubble football, street games and football demonstrations.
As well as activities and sessions, the Community Programme held a ‘Hardest Shot’ competition that saw children and adults battle it out to do the fastest penalty. The four winners won a pair of match tickets for a 2015/16 home game.
The winners for the competition were:
U8s Harvey Linley with 51mph
U12s Joe Haley with 54mph
U16s Callum Burner with 60mph
Adults Tom Heeley with 67mph

The Community Programme had a fantastic day at Owls in the Park and hosted the largest amount of activities than ever before. The Programme also supported more than 20 local charities and 10 community organisations on the day to raise awareness and funds.
Matt Bray, Social Inclusion Manager, said: “This year’s Owls in the Park was by far the best one yet! We’ve had some great feedback and we’re already looking forward to next year. Thank you to everyone who made the day happen!"
