Wednesday forward Marco Matias has been voted as the swfc.co.uk August Player of the Month.
Supporters have been voting since Monday and Matias has emerged as the winner with over 30% of the vote.
The Portuguese scored two goals during August from his seven appearances.
His wonder strike past Leeds goalkeeper Marco Silvestri at Elland Road earned plaudits worldwide and the 26-year-old followed that with his maiden goal at Hillsborough last weekend in the clash with Middlesbrough.
Midfielder Kieran Lee finished as runner-up with 15%, while Sam Hutchinson and Jack Hunt were tied in third place on 11%.
