Owls feeling good

5 October 2015

Daniel Pudil says Wednesday are in good shape heading into the international break.

The Owls have been buoyed by four straight victories, the most recent of which came at Hillsborough on Saturday against Preston.

Although Pudil would have preferred the next game to come sooner rather than later, he believes the international break will prove beneficial.

He said: “It is a nice feeling when you win four in a row.

“I don’t think we played as well in the second half against Preston but the most important thing is we won. We feel really good.

“We now have the international break so we can have a little bit of rest and focus on the next game.

“We have won four in a row so maybe it would have been better for us to play the games.

“We will see what happens but the Championship is quite long and I think the players need a rest to be with their families.”
