Owls increase social media following

The Owls social media is continuing to grow and two new official Twitter channels have now been in action for almost two months.

@swfcTICKETs now has 1,583 followers and @swfcCOMMERCIAL has 558 reached followers.


Trevor Braithwait, Director of Communications at Sheffield Wednesday, said: “It’s been great to see the new channels grow since their inception in October.


 “All of our social media and digital platforms are constantly reviewed to make sure our level of engagement is always at its highest. 


“It’s beneficial to have the ticketing and commercial strand of the Twitter feed separated as it allows our fans and clients to interact on a more specific basis.”
