Sheffield Wednesday will host Premier League side Newcastle United in a pre-season friendly.
The warm-up fixture against the Magpies will take place at Hillsborough on Wednesday 30 July, with kick off at 7.45pm.
Newcastle concluded their season on Sunday with a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool, finishing tenth in the top flight.
Tickets will be priced at £15 and £5 and sale dates will be announced in due course via the official website and social media channels.
The clash with the St James’ Park outfit will serve as the Owls’ only friendly on home soil ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.
Wednesday last met with Newcastle in the 2009/10 Championship season at Hillsborough which finished 2-2 on Boxing Day.
