Wednesday midfielder David Prutton has penned an emergency loan deal with League One side Coventry City.
The move will see the 32-year-old stay with the Sky Blues until the end of the season.
Prutton joined the Owls in summer 2011 and has made 61 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring three goals.
Coventry are set to face Crewe on Saturday at Gresty Road and Prutton is eligible to feature for City.
