A lifelong Owls fan had the pleasure of meeting captain Glenn Loovens before the pre-season friendly against Newcastle United this week, just by entering an online competition!
Keiran Mallet, aged 23, entered the Sheffield Wednesday competition via South Yorkshire radio station, Hallam FM’s Twitter page.
He won a signed ball from the team, two complimentary tickets for the pre-season game and a meet and greet with the Owls captain.
Keiran, who is now into his third season as a Season Ticket holder, said: “I’ve supported Sheffield Wednesday since I was born so it was amazing to come down to pitchside and meet Glenn!
“I can’t believe I won the competition! I forgot I’d even entered it and then Hallam FM just rang me up - I couldn’t believe it!
“Thanks to Sheffield Wednesday and Hallam FM for a great night at the Newcastle game – even if we did lose!”
