PRE-MATCH
Stuart Gray: “The good thing about this division is that more often than not, you get a quick opportunity to get back out onto the pitch.

“Ipswich are on a good run but we are playing well and we need to turn the level of performance into points.”

Mick McCarthy: “They have had a good start, and I thought they were excellent when we played them the last game of the season, I thought we were lucky to win because they were the better team.

“Stuart Gray has got them playing some really good football and it’s always a difficult place to play.”

POST-MATCH

Stuart Gray: “I think a draw was about the right result from a scrappy game.

“Ipswich can play along the back before hitting the front three, who are big lads. But we coped with that, we scored our goal and had two disallowed that I would like to see again.”

Mick McCarthy: "I thought we played some nice football in the first half and kept it, but they were letting us do it and we didn't really hurt them.

"We had a nice spell just before half time with a couple of good chances. I think on reflection it was probably even on chances."
