Sheffield Wednesday have signed Manchester City youngster George Swan on a youth loan.
The centre half stays with Wednesday until 19 October and will feature primarily for the Development Squad.
Swan is a commanding stopper who joined the Premiership champions from Leeds.
The teenager’s move to Hillsborough is his second temporary stint having switched to Norwegian top flight side Stromsgodset towards the end of the 2011/12 campaign.
