The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme has formed a new partnership with the University of Sheffield, Sport Sheffield and Sheffield FC to host additional Soccer Camps in Sheffield.
As part of the University of Sheffield’s sports arm ‘Sport Sheffield’ the partnership ‘Active Kids’ will enable children aged five – 14 to participate in sports including swimming, bouldering, trampolining and football.
As part of the partnership, the club’s Community Programme will be hosting various Soccer Camps at Goodwin Sports Centre.
The camps will provide professional coaching, an opportunity to progress to the club’s development centre, an appearance from the Owls mascot and wraparound care before and after the camps.
