Sheffield Wednesday would like to thank all supporters for their continued contribution to the club’s social media channels during the course of 2014/15.
As the channels continue to grow with varied content posted seven days a week, more and more supporters are getting involved with the Owls through social media.
With over 140,000 likes on Facebook and 82,000 following on Twitter, the popular sites have become one of the best ways to keep up to date with the club, alongside the official website swfc.co.uk.
The official Twitter account (@swfc) has become a superb way to read breaking news and follow first team games, through its updates over the course of a matchday and use of imagery during that time.
Facebook is attracting more and more Wednesdayites to voice their opinions on all things SWFC and supporters with their own Facebook accounts are urged to ‘Like’ the official page to ensure news is posted directly onto your timeline!
The 2014/15 campaign has also seen the SWFC YouTube channel rise to prominence with almost 5m views and 12,000 subscribers.
Extended match highlights in full HD have become one of the most popular features across all club channels this season and Owls fans far and wide have regularly viewed the videos posted directly from Hillsborough.

The Owls joined Instagram ahead of the season and the official account continues to go from strength to strength with over 10,000 followers.
Finally, supporters should also watch out for live broadcasts from the club over the summer through the new app ‘Periscope’.
