The Owls Under-18s produced one of their finest displays of the season on Saturday, firing six past Hull City.
Wednesday travelled to Bishop Burton to take on the Tigers and went into the half time break three goals to the good with Warren Clarke, Lewis Price and Fraser Preston on target.
The comprehensive first half display also saw a Goal of the Season contender from Price, who took at touch from 25 yards before rifling into the top corner.
After the interval it was more of the same from Wednesday and Connor O'Grady soon made it 4-0 with a well-placed header past the Tigers goalkeeper to put the game beyond any doubt.
Clarke then added a fifth before Jordan Lonchar curled a wonderful effort into the top corner to round off a superb afternoon for the young Owls.
