It’s time for Owls fans to vote for their final Player of the Month of 2015!
The winner of the swfc.co.uk December Player of the Month award will be announced on New Year’s Day.
The Owls began the month with a tough Capital One Cup quarter final test at Stoke before drawing back to back Championship tussles against Derby and Cardiff.
Having posted a 0-0 draw with Derby, Wednesday went to the Welsh capital and came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Fernando Forestieri and Barry Bannan on target.
Having lost out 2-1 at MK Dons in midweek, the Owls responded with impressive victories over Wolves and Birmingham.
Carlos Carvalhal’s side fell a goal behind at Hillsborough to Wolves but hit back to win 4-1 with a double from Forestieri and goals from Daniel Pudil and Gary Hooper.
And Wednesday continued their excellent form on home soil by romping to victory against Birmingham next time out.
Another Forestieri brace and Kieran Lee’s fourth goal of the campaign sealed a comprehensive 3-0 win.
