A splash of colour has been added to a classic moment from Sheffield Wednesday’s history. The re-coloured photo is of the Owls celebrating on the Hillsborough pitch after promotion back to the top flight following a 14 year absence.
The re-colouring has been provided by The Football League as part of their #WallOfColour campaign.
The new photo shows what a massive difference colour can make and comes as the Owls are calling on fans to create a #WallOfColour by wearing the club colours at the opening home league match of the season against Derby County on Saturday 16 August.
Supporters are asked to wear blue and white to inspire the team to get the 2014/15 Sky Bet Championship campaign off to the best possible start at home and then share their efforts on Twitter using #WallofColour.
