The most important word in the Owls’ camp is ‘focus’.
Everything is going well for Wednesday at present, in fantastic form, scoring goals, winning games and back into the top six.
But with 16 games left to play, nobody inside the dressing room is getting carried away and Daniel Pudil insists full focus is on Saturday’s clash with Brentford.
“It was a great weekend for us last week but nothing has changed for us.
“We are taking it game by game as we have done and we are focused for the next one which is against Brentford.
“We have to make sure we win this and then we will see what’s going on.”
Pudil – who has made 27 appearances for Wednesday this season – says there is plenty of work to do and difficulties ahead and continued:
“The supporters are very happy and have a lot of expectations at the moment but we have to stay focused on what we are doing.
“There are still a lot of games ahead of us so we look only at the next one.”
